About the role
We’re looking for a Product Designer to shape how marketers interact with Shortifi — from creating campaigns and managing UTM links to exploring click analytics. You’ll be the first dedicated designer on the team, which means high ownership and direct impact on every screen our users see.
What you’ll do
- Own the end-to-end design process: research, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and handoff
- Design intuitive workflows for link creation, campaign management, and analytics exploration
- Build and maintain a design system in Figma that maps to our shadcn/ui component library
- Run lightweight user research — interviews, usability tests, and data analysis — to inform design decisions
- Collaborate daily with engineers to ensure designs are implemented faithfully and performantly
- Define interaction patterns, micro-animations, and empty states that make the product feel polished
What we’re looking for
- 4+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or developer/marketing tools
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking, not just visual execution
- Expert-level Figma skills — components, auto-layout, variables, and prototyping
- Understanding of design systems and how they translate to code (Tailwind, Radix, component libraries)
- Ability to work with data-dense interfaces: tables, dashboards, charts, and complex forms
- Strong communication skills — you can articulate design rationale clearly to engineers and stakeholders
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with minimal process
Nice to have
- Experience designing analytics or reporting interfaces
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS — enough to review implementations and suggest tweaks
- Experience with accessibility audits and inclusive design practices
- Background in marketing technology or UTM/attribution tools
