Frontend Engineer

Engineering· Berlin / Remote (EU) · Full-time

About the role

We’re hiring a Frontend Engineer to build the Shortifi dashboard — the interface where marketers create campaigns, generate short links with UTM parameters, and explore click analytics. You’ll own features end-to-end, from data fetching to pixel-perfect UI.

What you’ll do

  • Build and refine pages and components using React 19, TypeScript, and Vite
  • Implement data fetching, caching, and optimistic updates with TanStack Query
  • Create type-safe routing and URL-driven state with TanStack Router
  • Build forms with complex validation using React Hook Form and Zod
  • Design accessible, responsive UI components with shadcn/ui (Radix + Tailwind CSS v4)
  • Build interactive analytics charts and data visualisations with Recharts
  • Work closely with backend engineers to shape API contracts and ensure smooth integration
  • Write unit and component tests with Vitest and Testing Library

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years of professional frontend development with React and TypeScript
  • Strong command of modern CSS — Tailwind, CSS Grid, responsive design, design tokens
  • Experience with server-state management libraries (TanStack Query, SWR, or similar)
  • Good understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and semantic HTML
  • Familiarity with REST API integration and OpenAPI-generated types
  • An eye for detail — you care about spacing, alignment, transitions, and consistency
  • Experience writing and maintaining frontend tests

Nice to have

  • Experience building analytics dashboards or data-heavy UIs
  • Familiarity with Zod schema validation and form libraries
  • Background in B2B SaaS or marketing tools
  • Experience with Figma-to-code workflows

What we offer

  • A small, focused team where your work ships fast and matters
  • Flexible remote work within EU time zones
  • 28 days paid vacation
  • Learning budget for conferences, courses, and books
  • Modern hardware of your choice
